This post is simply intended to vent my feelings about the smart watch. I'd like to first throw out the prediction that the smart watch will be a big device and make tech companies plenty of money. It's hard to say how long it will last, but I'm guessing like.. forever :) You see, a watch is just something on your wrist. But let's face it, a smart watch is not a fucking watch is it. It's a personal computing device, just like your phone is today. In fact I really hope that Apple does not call it a watch or even use the word watch in their keynote. And I really believe that the smart watch (I'm allowed to call it that) has the potential to save Apple from a bit of a long term downturn (it'll take a while for iphone fever to lessen, but the 5c doesn't really cut it in my opinion). I'm sad the iPad has received so much criticism, but pleased to see the bigger blogs are now standing up for it. The fact is Apple cut corners to deliver an interesting price. That's the reason it's not living up to what a lot of critics seem to think their expectations were. But what did they want, a $1000 device? They'd have panned it for being too expensive. Because that seemed to be the big concern pre-launch. To SSH into your Mac you just need to do the following. Go to System preferences >> Sharing Check the "Remote Login" box That's it! This will start sshd on your system and you can now be able to SSH your Mac with your usual Mac username and password. If this helped you out, hit the +1 button below.
