James Blunt concert - Wicked!

Went to a James Blunt concert yesterday (with my girlfriend :) ) It was wicked actually. Really live. He's like really into what he sings. Was right at the front in the middle behind a few screaming girls. His band is wicked too. There were a few tunes where they really went to town with the heavy guitar shit, it was a nice surprise, cos on the CD it's pretty relaxed. All in all wicked. I'll have to get some links up to some of his pics and sounds. Definitely worth seeing if he's in a gig venue near you! /Josh

Sick, Sicker, Sickest

There was me trying to learn what Web 2.0 was exactly. Well, when I stumbled upon Francis Shanahan's web site I began to get a good idea. This bible was fun, although not an example of Web 2.0 I guess.. Still, the site gave me a better idea of Web 2.0 than Wikipedia did. /Josh

Josh Downes

I thought I'd try to help Google's image search to find the photo on my Blogger profile by linking my pic with my name :)) So here it is. Since my name is Josh Downes , I'm hoping this will at least serve as a helping hand. /Josh

PC Magazine jokes

Syndicate a Marktplaats search

Image
I did a Marktplaats search (Dutch buy&sell site) and after messing around with the URL, I got Google to display it nicely in Google reader. Note to self: Make a form that generates these thingies for a given Marktplaats search and adds them automatically to Google reader. Here’s the example. It's a feed for TVs from 1-100 euro (only works with Google I think, not sure): http://kopen.marktplaats.nl/opensearch.php?...... And this link will let you add the above feed directly to Google Reader, or your Google personalized homepage: :))) Cool huh? :)))

Hey, that's fun :))

I noticed yesterday that this site popped up as Google’s nr.1 result for the search Josh Downes . That’s great :) Probably cos I changed the title to “Josh Downes” (it used to be… oh, I’ve forgotten) But that means the text “Josh Downes” on my user profile on the Blogger site links to this URL. That’s probably why. That would also explain why this morning my Blogger profile has taken over as the nr.1 result :)   /Josh
