Mac keyboard shortcuts and other tips

I've just bought a Macbook (13.3" aluminium, 4gb ram, lovely | battery, non-backlit keyboard, less lovely) and cos I've always been a Windows user there's a lot that is new to me. Before I give up and install Bootcamp I'll probably discover a bunch of things that I'll want to remember. So I'm going to record them here. I definitely need a comprehensive reference to Mac keyboard shortcuts. I'm sure there are plenty out there. It's amazing how disabling it is not knowing all the keyboard shortcuts that one's gotten so used to over time. Google Chrome in-page search shortcuts

I couldn't work it out by myself: The keyboard shortcuts for jumping through one's Google Chrome in-page search results. Well, I think I'll use Ctrl+G, hell, why not?! :) Ctrl+F Open find-in-page box Ctrl+G  or  F3 Find next match for your input in the find-in-page box Ctrl+Shift+G  or  Shift+F3 Find previous match for your input in the find-in-page box

Intel(R) Extreme Graphics 2

This is a nice technical post (kinda) cos I haven't posted in ages (blame goes to Facebook) Ok, see this little icon on the left. If you use Intel(R) Extreme Graphics 2 you'll see it in the bottom right-hand corner of your screen along with the other annoying icons that sit there doing nothing. One of the handy features of Intel Exteme Graphics is that it allows you to rotate the image displayed on your computer screen. Obviously you'd only want to do this if you're also able to physically rotate the screen. This is sometimes nice if you're writing a document cos then you can fit a whole page at once on the screen. I have such a screen (at work) and until today I've had to locate this icon in the corner and go into the menus to rotate the screen. Today, all that changed. I was pressing some random keys trying to make little e's with accents (é) and it wasn't working, and suddenly my screen flipped. So here we go. The Intel Extreme Graphics keyboard shor...
